Webmaatje builds autonomous systems for small businesses: software that does work on its own, within rules the owner sets. This page explains how we handle oversight, data and transparency, for our clients and on this website.

What we believe

Autonomy only works with oversight. A business that runs itself should never be a business you can’t see into. Handing work to agents must never mean handing over your business.

How we build

Every system we deliver follows three rules:

• You set the rules: what an agent may handle by itself and when it checks with you first.
• Everything an agent does is visible, in one place, in plain language.
• When an agent doubts, it asks you.

Client data stays in Europe, on self-hosted infrastructure. No lock-in, no reselling, no dependence on platforms outside the EU.

The EU AI Act

We design our systems around the EU AI Act, with human oversight built in from the first line, so new legislation is never our clients’ problem. That is not a certification claim; it is how we build: transparent by default, with the owner in control.

The free Autonomy Scan is a fixed, deterministic calculation model: your answers are scored by the same simple rules for everyone, entirely in your browser, and they never leave your device. Analytics are cookieless and self-hosted.
